Mason

Hello, I'm Mason...one of the two admins and founders of NightWalkers, the other of which being that dude who runs like a girl...chezie....chesie....ah, Crosshatch!

I was a late bloomer getting into the car scene, for years i was obsessed with late night coffee fueled gaming...but then one day a friend of mine bought a Renault 5 campus, it was a 1.1 monster with an audio install that cost 100 sterling, but sucked...i hate audio crap, but he invited me along to a Motor World opening day, was full of crap boy racer cars apart from a replica of del boys Robin Reliant which rocked, and of course some nice ladys on the poles, but none the less it got me looking into cars more, pretty soon i noticed a red Ford Sierra Cosworth parked in my street...the 3 door shape, i fell in love and decided to buy a car.

The car i ended up with was a BMW E30 325i Sport, nice 6 cylinder RWD car with 50/50 weight balance and LSD, to be honest i never knew drifting existed, i then met some people and using my geek skills, we formed a website called Welsh Performance Car Enthusiasts, it was a small club for the running of track days at Llandow circuit, which is now a venue of British Drift Championship, i took part and loved it, even getting my ass kicked by an Atom...i didn't care it could kick my ass all day long, it sounded awesome, it started to rain towards the end of the day and i noticed the car kept wanting to swing the back end out on glue pot corner...it was so much more fun that griping, i had the hugest smile on my face and started singing to my passenger....then i crashed and went into the barrier, fail!

Many months later i met Crosshatch, after months of drinking with him, house partys...him throwing up in swimming pools and throwing up over quite possibly the hotted girl ever to grace the car scene...i decided to buy a 200SX S13...well, i bought most of one, i then had to go collect it but took my time, during this...Crosshatch also bought a 200SX S13...a stage 3 jobby, and he picked up drifting very quickly...it was awesome....we had to take it further...so NightWalkers was created and this is how far that little random idea has progressed.

My skidding background sucks since the BMW, i took a broken 200SX S13 to DriftWest 2, i took 2 mechanics (Thank's Dan!) and a big ass van full of every tool you need, the mechanics worked all day in the rain to get my car working, during this time i was getting drunk...the next day arrived and they continued to fix my car, by the time my hangover was cured they did it, wooo!!

All happy and excited, i drive off to do some skidding, lasted all about 3 minutes and my clutch just blows up, fail again...so i hit the vodka for the rest of the event, i'm now trying to get the car ready for one of the NightWalker practice days, but i take forever so god knows which one i will make...my ultimate skid car has to be a Nissan Skyline R32, it's the best shape imo...the R33 is ugly and these days everyone has them, the R34 is sweet...but most of the owners are old, fat and scared to drive them properly, if i can keep a job down then a year after i will have an R32 and be happy :D

Oh, i'm also the webmaster, so enjoy the website!
