My name is Bryn and I'm a self confessed car nut!

I've always had a fascination with cars and driving, from an early age I could be seen skidding my little red plastic toy car down my grans driveway. I started racing karts when I was 8 which taught me a lot about car control and race craft. My love for all things car related continued through my education where I ended up studying for an Automotive Engineering Design degree at Coventry University and worked with the Mitsubishi Ralliart Europe WRC team for 15months.

I first became interested in drifting when I bought my first Skyline R32 GTR back in 2005 and I was bitten by the Japanese car bug. Since then I bought another R32 Skyline and been busy building one of the daftest drift cars in the UK, its an ongoing project to this day. My first drift experience came at DriftWest2 at Brawdy in South West Wales where I had the chance to try a few things out in a BMW E30 318i Touring for a whole weekend. Coming from a circuit racing/karting background it took a little getting used to but once I started to understand what it was all about behind the wheel I started gaining my confidence. I've even plucked up the courage to pull the 4WD fuse from the GTR and drifted it.

The BMW is now undergoing a transformation to bring it up to BDC Amateur class regulations so that I can get some competition experience under my belt before using the R324 Skyline next year.
