My Name is Chris Hackwood and i am 23 years old. I live in Newport South Wales.

I own a 95 Nissan 200sx s14 which i have driven for just over 2 and a half years, since i have owned the car i have been actively taking

part in drifting right from the start. I have attended numerous EuroDrift practice days mostly in Wales and have also travelled over to parts

of England and other parts of Wales for practice days.

After completing many Eurodrift practise days at Chepstow racecourse i went for my Amatuer license of which i was awarded first time.

This then led to myself entering Round 7 of the Eurodrift 2007 series at Chepstow on the 22/09/07. This was my 1st time drifting competetivly

with other drivers from across the UK. To say i was nervous was an understatement. After the qualifying runs had finished i was anxious to see

if i had qualified... which i did. I qualified 5th. I then went on to the top 8 but didnt get any further.

Once i had left the track i spoke to the perosn who runs Eurodrift and was very excited to hear that he had awarded me my pro license for 2008.

Needless to say that after i heard that i was extremely chuffed.

After the Eurodrift series ended the BDC series was formed which i have jumped at the chance of competeing with my Pro license.

I recently attended the first round of the BDC at Teesside with the team mate and fellow NightWalkian Marc (Crosshatch). we were both extremely happy

to know that we both qualifed into the "top 16" in our first Pro Comp. Unfortunatly we didnt get any further than that but never the less we gained

championship points by qualifying. Next stop is our home turf that is Llandow where i plan to "unleash the patriotic dragon" on the english and will be aiming for a top 10 finish.

My aim is to compete in as many of BDC rounds as i can in 2008. And get to as many practise days that i can.
